Antenna Design and Inspection Scope of Service
Initial
site inspection:
Climb and inspect tank conditions. Document restrictions and develop
initial design concept and plan, or review preliminary design prepared
by antenna owner.
Collect measurements to verify drawings.
Analyze paint conditions (lead) for OSHA concerns.
Evaluate antenna installation for potential interference with
future tank maintenance and access requirements.
Prepare drawings or review and modify where necessary specifications
prepared by the antenna owner. The following design considerations
will be evaluated:
Antenna mounting design.
Tank loading effects.
Cable passage design.
Cable support design.
Cable penetration design.
Paint repair specifications.
Collateral tank appurtenances design.
Construction Inspection:
Inspect all welds and construction for compliance with design
and specifications
Paint Repair Inspection:
Inspect paint work for compliance with specifications.
