A
History of Success...
DIXON is a consulting engineering firm specializing in structural
and coating inspection for steel structures, i.e. water tanks, water/wastewater
treatment plants, bridges. A full staff of technicians and engineers
are on hand to provide unbiased inspections and recommendations.
DIXON's aim is to create a cost-effective project while meeting
all applicable State and Federal regulations. All well-planned projects
begin with a preliminary maintenance inspection (PMI) to determine
the condition of the structure and the coating. The PMI report will
tell the owner the condition of the structure and coating, any repairs
(if needed), a time frame for rehabilitation, and cost estimate.
The report will also fully discuss any applicable environmental
issues.
DIXON offers full design and field inspection services for coating
projects including preparation or review of technical specification,
shop drawing review, weld inspections and paint inspections.
DIXON personnel are associated with the National Society of Professional
Engineers, Steel Society for Protective
Coating, National and Michigan Rural Water-Association Sections
of American Water Works Association, American Welding Society, Michigan
Rural Water Association, Ohio Association of Rural Water and Wastewater
Systems, Wisconsin Rural Water Association, Illinois Rural Water
Association, Indiana Rural Water Association and assorted regional
water associations.
